Rolfs Salon Delivers a Night of Red Carpet Hollywood Style and Glamour
As a major sponsor and partner of Oscar Night America, Rolfs Salon hosted a champagne VIP Brunch, “Celebrity Glamour Lounge”, and honors Hollywood’s leading ladies in a fashion presentation, “Hollywood Glamour”
International fashion and beauty guru Rolf Lohse brought red carpet glamour and elegance to the 18th annual Oscar Night America - Phoenix event which benefits the Arthritis Foundation.
Prior to the Oscar Night event, Rolfs hosted an exclusive VIP Brunch at their Gainey Village location in Scottsdale where clients were primped and pampered by Rolfs stylists in preparation for the night with updos and makeup applications. The guests enjoyed sipping on champagne and tasting delectable gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared by chef to the stars, Chef Zipora.
At the event, live gold-painted Oscar figures flanked the entrance to the red carpet, where event attendees enjoyed getting their photos snapped by the paparazzi. Rolf had the honor of being the event “glambassador” -- highlighting guests with great personal style. In this role, Rolf worked the red carpet Hollywood style, conversing with guests and giving his commentary on the fashion and beauty buzz of the night -- quizzing red carpet patrons on “who are you wearing” and what film do you think will win tonight?”
The highlight of the evening was certainly the red carpet Hollywood fashion show, “Hollywood Glamour” produced by Rolfs Salon – a fashion and beauty tribute to Hollywood superstars throughout the ages. Rolfs artistic team were the agent provocateurs as this artistic array of models were transformed into Hollywood legends including Charlie Chaplin, Nicole Kidman, Barbara Streisand, Doris Day, Vivian Leigh, Audrey Hepburn, Julia Roberts, Michelle Williams and Elizabeth Taylor. The room was buzzing with excitement as one lucky live auction winner walked away with the experience of a lifetime: a celebrity makeover experience complete with a girl’s night out at Rolfs Salon with 5 of her friends and a special private dinner hosted by Rolf Lohse at one of Phoenix’s poshest restaurants. Rolfs also donated 50 mystery box items to help with fundraising efforts for the Arthritis Foundation valued at more than $12,000. In addition, Rolfs supplied each of the 300 swag bags with more than $120 in luxury hair and skin care products and services.
The Arthritis Foundation is a cause close to Rolf’s heart -- Rolf appeared on ABC 15’s Sonoran Living TV program and did a segment on hair care for people who are affected by arthritis. On this particular show Rolf did a makeover on Kacie McSorley, a 23 year-old living with arthritis who is also the honorary chair for the Biltmore event on the 26th.

It's fun to try new things. At Rolf’s, we even encourage you to try different stylists on different visits. Don’t worry about switching around. We’re all part of the same family. Although we’re all Rolf trained, each of us is slightly different, with slightly different talents. So mixing it up is healthy, fun, and sometimes in your interest.
