As companies continue to lay off employees due to the current economic crisis, Rolf’s Salon is giving away complimentary makeovers to build confidence in women looking for new jobs. “I feel like we are in a unique position to contribute and be a resource for people,” says Rolf Lohse, “During times of great crisis, many people feel compelled to help but don’t know how.”
These makeovers began on February 26, 2009 when Rolf gave makeovers to two special Phoenix women. Both have been actively searching for a new job after being laid off over six months ago. Rolf and his team of expert stylists transformed the women’s looks by giving tips and a large dose sense of self-confidence.
On March 23rd, Rolf officially announced the “Rolf’s Stimulus Package” on-air at Channel 3’s Good Morning Arizona program by encouraging Valley residents to submit their stories on-line at www.rolfssalon.com. He continued his on-air makeovers at his Dana Park location by changing the looks, and lives, of three more ladies, with one woman becoming proof of Rolf’s incredible work.
“With the secrets Rolf taught me, it is easy to do. I am sure the confidence in my appearance helped tremendously,” said Ida Scott, who after a makeover with Rolf, aced her interview and scored a new job.
Every month for the remainder of 2009, Rolf’s will be transforming the looks of Valley residents to give them the cutting-edge look that will help them land a job. Rolf’s stylists will donate color services while Rolf himself will donate haircuts to deserving job-seekers hoping to set themselves apart from the rest.

trying another stylist

It's fun to try new things. At Rolf’s, we even encourage you to try different stylists on different visits. Don’t worry about switching around. We’re all part of the same family. Although we’re all Rolf trained, each of us is slightly different, with slightly different talents. So mixing it up is healthy, fun, and sometimes in your interest.
