Making the Cut 2007

Rolf's Salon teams up with the Arizona Cardinals to raise money for charity.

Once again Rolf's Salon teamed up with the Arizona Cardinals to host the 4th Annual Making the Cut event, benefiting Arizona Cardinal Charities. As a yearly tradition, Making the Cut is one of our favorite Salon events--it's fun, exciting, and helpful.

The Arizona Cardinals Charity Fund supports programs designed to improve the quality of life and to enhance opportunities for women, children and minorities in the state of Arizona. Since its formation in 1990, Cardinal Charities have distributed over 3.5 million dollars to over 250 worthy Arizona charitable organizations such as the Arizona Women's Foundation, the Child Crisis Center of the East Valley, and Mission of Mercy, to name a few.

Event participants enjoyed haircuts, styles and luxurious Redken Power Shot treatments that were customized for each client's hair needs. Cardinal players and cheerleaders were on hand to assist Rolf's expert stylists during the festivities. In addition, this event included spa samplings such as makeup touch-ups, brow waxing and paraffin dips. Participants also scored a hot gift bag stuffed with sponsor swag. Guests enjoyed the sounds of live music while experiencing an outstanding selection of delectable hors d'oeuvres provided by Taneko Japanese Tavern, while beverages were provided by Budweiser and Coca-cola.

To help support the cause, a lively silent auction and raflfle was also held at the event. Priceless Cardinals memorabilia, luxury spa packages and a selection of extravagant items were up for grabs. Past events have been a huge success and have raised more than $30,000 for Cardinals Charities.
